A.B. Ayers GED Scholarship MCC GED graduate with the highest graduation score for the academic year.


George W. Ballard Memorial Scholarship


Must be a North Carolina resident enrolled in the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration program.  Must demonstrate financial need; submit an essay stating why this field of study was chosen and how the scholarship will help in the attainment of educational goals.
 

H. Leman Barnhill Scholarship

Martin County resident with at least a 3.0 GPA (maintained).
 

Jerry Bembridge Memorial Scholarship

Bertie, Martin, or Washington County Resident who is physically challenged.  If no physically challenged student applies, students in the Physical Therapist program with financial need are considered.


Carolina
Classic
Scholarship


Awarded to students enrolled or intending to enroll in the Equine Technology Program. Complete Carolina Classic Application located in FA Office.

Coca-Cola Scholarship

 

Open to first-year and rising second-year students.  Based on character, personal merit and commitment.  Solid academic record-minimum 2.5 GPA.  Must have completed 100 hours of documented service within the previous 12 months in the community or on campus.  Access application at www.coca-colascholars.org.


The Embarq Scholarship


NC Resident enrolled or intending to enroll full-time in a technical or vocational program.  Priority is given to African-Americans or displaced workers
 

Frances Hardy Scholarship

E.M. Hunt Scholarship

Second-year business-related student with scholastic promise.

Enrolled in a vocational curriculum with financial need and maintain satisfactory academic progress.


Martin Community College Foundation Equine Scholarship


Second-year Equine Technology student who demonstrates financial need and scholastic promise.


Martin Community College Foundation High School Scholarship

 
Awarded to two graduates intending to attend Martin Community College from each of the service area high schools: Bertie, Williamston, Bear Grass, Roanoke, Creswell, Jamesville and Plymouth high schools.


Barbara Mobley Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship

 
Must be a graduating Martin County student attending MCC in a business- oriented curriculum or computer-oriented curriculum


Deborah Kathryn & David Andrew Moore Scholarship

 
Single parent with elementary or secondary school-aged children with financial need and scholastic promise.


NC Refrigeration Examiners Scholarship

 
North Carolina Resident enrolled in the Commercial Refrigeration A.A.S. Program.

 
Robert Newell Scholarship

 
Martin County high school graduate with financial need and high academic average.

 
Joe Passell Scholarship

 
Enrolled in vocational program with GPA of 3.0 or higher during last year of formal education.  Must be only source of financial assistance (VA allowable).


Z.T. Piephoff Scholarship

 
Martin County resident with financial need and/or scholastic promise.


Ricks Automotive Scholarship


Automotive Systems Technology student with financial need and scholastic promise.


State Employees’ Credit Union Foundation Scholarship

  


Must have graduated from a N.C. high school and enrolled in a curriculum program.  Based on financial need and 2.5 minimum scholastic achievement.   The Scholarship is to be used only at MCC for direct college expenses.

Allen Ryan Todd Scholarship Awarded to a resident of N.C. enrolled in an Associate Degree program in education.  Financial need and academic potential are considered.  Must submit an essay stating why this field of study was chosen and how the scholarship will help to attain educational goal.
 
The Wachovia Technical Merit Scholarship Full-time second-year student in a technical curriculum.  Student must demonstrate financial need and show scholastic promise.
