Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Services

Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Services. Requires Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in adult education, student development, or related field. Doctorate degree preferred. Three years of increasingly responsible experience with responsibility for student services and/or academic affairs. Skills needed in organizational and management practices as applied to curriculum planning, development, analysis, and evaluation of programs; knowledge of policies and operational needs for curriculum standards for academic programs. Requirements include strong computer skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position coordinates with the Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Services in planning and directing activities in academics and student services. Basic Skills Instructor

Chair of Public Services and Construction/Industrial Technologies
 

Chair of Public Services and Construction/Industrial Technologies Martin Community College invites applications for a 12-month chair of Public Services and Construction/Industrial Technologies.
Responsibilities include teaching in assigned area, advising students, supervising full-time and part-time faculty, evaluating and developing curriculums, recruiting part-time faculty, managing daily departmental activities, and developing schedules for each semester.
Qualifications include a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in industrial technology; three years of experience in administration or in a lead position in teaching, preferably in post-secondary education; excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong computer skills

Director of  Physical Therapy Assistant Program

Director of  Physical Therapy Assistant Program.  Responsibilities include teaching in assigned areas, evaluation and development of the curriculum, recruiting students, supervising faculty, advising students, developing class and clinical schedules.

Physical Therapy Clinical Coordinator

Martin Community College has a full-time, nine-month, with possible summer teaching, position available for Physical Therapy Clinical Coordinator.  Requirements are Minimum AAS Degree with licensure, certification, and/or registration in Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assisting.  Two years of experience in clinical setting with experience in clinical practice, administration, and curriculum design and methodology.  The instructor assists the director in the development, evaluation, and revision of the Physical Therapy Assisting curriculum and instructing students. Practical Nurse Program Director

Martin Community College invites applications for a Director of its Practical Nurse Program.  Required qualifications include a Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program, coursework in teaching and learning principles in adult education, an unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in NC, two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse, and two years of full-time teaching experience in a nursing program.   The program director is responsible for curriculum and program development and recruitment of students.  Applications accepted until position is filled; preference may be given to applications received by March 2.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience.  Submit a completed NC State Application, (available at www.esc.state.nc.us or www.martincc.edu), resume, names and contact information of three professional references, copy of college transcripts, and letter of interest that includes desired salary.
