Students in the two year associate degree program participate in MCC's Co-op
program that combines classroom learning experiences with one or more
semesters of employment while completing their degrees. The
professional work experience awards academic credit toward graduation and is
closely related to the student's academic program of study. Co-op
education is considered an integral part of the learning process as it
enhances the student's academic knowledge, personal development, and
professional development. |

Martin's
Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration Technology program has two
classrooms for training, both located in Building 3 on the college's
Williamston Campus. One classroom is used to teach students everything
from basic refrigeration to totally energy-controlled systems. The other
classroom has more than 4,000 square feet of training space and is used as
laboratory where students work on variety of refrigeration systems. Martin Community College, with it's picturesque 65 acre main campus located in Williamston, the center of northeastern North Carolina, provides a convenient setting for commuting students.
