Upon completion of this curriculum, students should be prepared to take the ASE exam and be ready for full-time employment in dealerships and repair shops in the automotive service industry. Students graduating from a NATEF accredited program are well received in the automotive industry.  For more information on careers in automotive industry go to www.natef.org or www.acinet.org.

Students in the two year associate degree program participate in MCC's Co-op program that combines classroom learning experiences with one or more semesters of employment while completing their degrees.  The professional work experience awards academic credit toward graduation and is closely related to the student's academic program of study.  Co-op education is considered an integral part of the learning process as it enhances the student's academic knowledge, personal development, and professional development.
