In 1995, the Kappa Eta Chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma (ABG), and International Business Honor Society, was established at MCC to recognize academic excellence among students in business curricula and provide students professional and career development opportunities. Since its inception, the number of students inducted into the local chapter of ABG has grown steadily. Members are active in supporting both the college and community activities. In recent years, members have supported the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina, Toys for Tots, Coats for Kids, March of Dimes, U.S. troops overseas, and the college's Student Government Association.  The chapter also attends national and international conventions.  For more information on the Kappa Eta Chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma click here.
