The Law Enforcement Training Section at Martin
Community College has two main missions.
Basic Law Enforcement
Training (BLET) is required for potential law enforcement officers. It is a rigorous program stressing professionalism,
academic achievement, discipline, and physical fitness. The program is
accredited by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards
Commission. Limited scholarships are available. Follow this link for current

Law Enforcement
In-Service Training is continuing education for persons who work for
Criminal Justice Agencies.
