Financial_Aid_Officer

The successful candidate will have responsibility for administering the College's financial aid program, including ensuring program compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, counseling, public administration, accounting, or a related field, strong analytical and computer skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, and two years of work experience in business/financial functions. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and three years of experience administering and/or assisting in financial aid.

Research Assistant: One-Year Grant Funded Position

Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and reporting data regarding student success initiatives, including but not limited to, Completion by Design and Achieving the Dream, developing, coordinating, and implementing institutional evaluations, assisting with the program and administrative assessment process, and other projects as directed.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, demonstrated competency in MS Office and data analysis, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include understanding of and/or experience with Datatel, SAS, Blackboard, online surveying, and creating queries.

Human Resources Officer

This is a full-time position that reports to the President. The position is responsible for Human Resources' functions, including, but not limited to, compensations and benefits, recruitment and staffing, training and development, affirmative action, diversity and inclusion, performance appraisals, coordination of HR and payroll data, generating and distributing related reports and information, and ensuring compliance with Board, state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications are a Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or comparable training and work experience), excellent communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal), and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications include two-five years of experience managing human resource functions, analyzing data, and paralegal experience.

Custodian

Primary hours will be Monday through Thursday 3 PM to 9:30 PM; but may also include day shifts and weekends. Duties include cleaning and maintaining buildings and securing buildings at closing.

Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged per8iods of time; lift and carry equipment; and bend, stoop and kneel. Custodial experience preferred.

The Director is responsible for library operations, including supervision of staff, media services, cataloging, periodicals, circulation, and acquisitions. Martin Community College seeks a dynamic leader for the position of Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Services. Reporting to the President, the Dean is responsible for administration of academic programs and student services, policy development, institutional effectiveness, and accreditation.

Required qualifications include a Master's degree (Doctorate preferred) from an accredited college or university; successful teaching and higher education administrative experience, preferably in community colleges; and evidence of a collaborative, inclusive leadership style built on excellent communication skills and a commitment to engaging faculty and staff in decision making.

Information Technology Support Technician II

Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance that includes, but not limited to, installing, maintaining, analyzing, and repairing desktops, servers, and software, computer peripherals; troubleshooting hardware and software related problems; updating and maintaining content, programming, and security for web-based resources, and running cable as necessary. A flexible work schedule may be required at times to respond to needs of the institution and and staff.

Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Information Technology or related area; bachelor's degree preferred, and three years of experience in computer system and software installation. Experience must include maintenance and operation; information technology and application support; web programming, security and server support; and experience with Windows desktop and/or server related operating systems; HTML, CSS, and PHP. Physical requirements include ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., climb ladders, kneel, and bend.
