This course is designed to off er a focused approach for physical therapy specific medical terminology, documentation, and professional communication for all settings and patient populations Topics include use of appropriate medical terms, abbreviations, written and verbal documentation and use of a variety of documentation platforms to enhance third party, legal, and professional communication efficiency within the practice of physical therapy. Upon completion, students should be able to read, comprehend, articulate, and utilize with fluency a wide variety of terms, abbreviations, and documentation procedures and systems for a best practice approach to physical therapy.
