Title IX Contact Information

If you or someone you know has experienced or witnessed sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, or sexual violence, support is available. Title IX and Martin Community College's resources are in place to help individuals understand their rights, explore available options, and access support.

Any person, including a student, employee, or campus visitor, who believes they have experienced discrimination on the basis of sex or gender may report their concerns under Title IX.

Individuals may report concerns online at any time by using the

MCC Title IX Report and Support Request Form or in person to the Title IX Coordinator using the contact information listed below:

Contact Information

To raise any concern involving bias or conflict of interest by the Title IX Coordinator, contact Dr. Tabitha Miller, MCC President, Building 1 Room 3 or (252) 789-0222. Concerns of bias or a potential conflict of interest by any other Title IX Team member should be reported to the Title IX Coordinator.

Nondiscrimination Team

MCC has appointed a Nondiscrimination Team, comprised of the following individuals, to coordinate MCC's compliance with federal, state, and local civil rights laws and ordinances:

  • Vice President, Student Development Services
  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Vice President, Operations / Community Engagement
  • Vice President, Academic Affairs / Chief Academic Officer (CAO)
  • Vice President, Continuing Education / Workforce Development
  • Associate Vice President, Bertie Campus

All MCC employees, including student-employees, other than those deemed Confidential Employees, are Mandated Reporters and are expected to promptly report all known details of actual or suspected sexual harassment to appropriate officials immediately. Failure of a Mandated Reporter to report an incident of sexual harassment of which they become aware is a violation of College Policy and may subject the employee to disciplinary action.
