SGA members attend N4CSGA meeting

Four members of MCC’s SGA attended the Spring Eastern Division Meeting of the N4CSGA (North Carolina Comprehensive Community College Student Government Association) on February 23, 2019 at Carteret Community College in Morehead City.

The one day event provided an opportunity for members to network with SGA members from other community colleges in the east. Members were also updated on N4CSGA state level activities and participated in student development and leadership workshops. Pictured above, from left to right are Jasmine Howard, Alayna Spratt, and Princess Foster. MCC’s SGA Advisor, Vanessa Tripp, was also in attendance. These young women are to be commended for taking time from their busy lives to attend this event. SGA provides MCC students with an opportunity to learn about the processes of a democratic government and its leadership. New SGA officers are needed for the Fall 2019 Semester.
