Medical Assisting Certificate for High School Students in Medical Assisting (C45400P)

The Medical Assisting certificate prepares health care professionals to perform administrative procedures. Coursework includes instruction in scheduling appointments, coding and processing insurance accounts, billing, collections, computer operations, and ethical/legal issues associated with patient care. Employment opportunities include physicians' offices, health maintenance organizations, health departments, and hospitals.
